Kazakhstan: Fulfilling of EAEU regulations is sufficient for enabling product market access

Since 10th JUN 2020, the fulfilling of EAEU regulations (for EAC marking) is currently sufficient for enabling product market access to Kazakhstan for devices with radio technology. This decision was announced by Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (see English version below*).

In general and as an indication, the equipment and it’s conditions (frequency bands etc.) should meet the requirements as it would exist on the Russian market.
Due to just upcoming national restrictions because of COVID-19, the possibility to contact Kazakhstan ministry is slow down. Further updates are expected, but not schedulable at the moment.

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan resolves:

  1. To recognize as invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the annex to this resolution.
  2. This resolution becomes effective from the day of its first official publication.
