Transitional period for updated FCC authorization program expired in November<\/h1>\n

For one year, the updated authorization program for FCC certifications for devices with radio technologies to be approved on the U.S. market was undergoing a transition period. Since November 2018, the sDoc procedure has been applicable for new devices and for changes made to devices after November 2, 2018, with self-declaration. The certification procedure by accredited test laboratories such as 7layers remains unchanged. Since no certificates are issued in the case of self-declaration, the involvement of an official certification body is not necessary and FCC self-decalination is a very convenient procedure.
