Automotive ultra-wideband testing<\/h1>\n

As one of the first test laboratories, 7layers is already implementing UWB product tests for keyless entry systems. The use of this UWB technology in the automotive sector is intended, among other things, to further increase safety when using vehicle opening systems.<\/p>\n

Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a radio technology that can use a low energy level for communication over a large part of the frequency spectrum with short range and high bandwidth. UWB applications are aimed at sensor data collection, precision location and tracking applications.<\/p>\n

In the future, OEMs will also use UWB technology for automotive keyless entry systems, which the first automotive manufacturers will launch in their new models as early as 2020\/21.<\/p>\n
