In the past the Saudi Arabia Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) accepted requests for approval of parts with WLAN\/BT\/RFID technology.
\nCurrently, devices which are not cellular network\u00a0telecommunication devices cannot get CITC approval, e.g. devices with BT, WLAN etc.
\nIf a device includes a cellular module, the single WWAN module needs to get a CITC approval (e.g. LTE-module mounted in notebook). But also devices with integrated cellular functions like mobile phones and notebooks are defined as modules by CITC and need to apply for CITC approval.<\/p>\n
