Wireless Power Charging

Qi is an open interface standard that defines wireless power transfer using inductive charging over distances of up to 4 cm (1.6 inches) that was developed in 2010 by the Wireless Power Consortium. In 2013 the Wireless Power Consortium accredited 7layers for official “Qi” testing and certification of products such as mobile phones, smartphones, wireless chargers etc.
