Qualcomm’s TCN training 2016 will be hosted by 7layers
Qualcomm, a wireless chipset manufacturer and telecommunications equipment company, is very active in supporting the developments towards the Internet of Things (IoT) with leading mobile technologies such as LTE and upcoming 5G.
Annual training sessions for TCN partners
In order to facilitate test laboratories to offer the best possible service when testing devices and services built on Qualcomm technologies and chipsets, the company organizes annual training sessions for their carefully chosen “Test Center Network” (TCN).
This year’s event will be hosted by 7layers, a Qualcomm preferred test center for many years.
The training is going to take place on the 26th and 27th October 2016 in Germany in Ratingen, near Duesseldorf airport, thus being in easy reach from anywhere in Europe.
The two-day training will include training sessions provided by the Qualcomm’s Wireless Academy Team, providing a deep understanding of the Qualcomm chipset and test technologies. Trainings like this are vital in a fast changing technological environment. They facilitate Qualcomm preferred test centers such as 7layers to offer customers launching Qualcomm-based devices, reliable technical support when it comes to troubleshooting and debugging, thus shortening time-to-market considerably.
“Experience shows that our customers benefit greatly from such a training”, explains Thomas Jaeger, Director Business Development and Innovation of the global 7layers Group. “Therefore 7layers Germany gladly supports this activity together with the 7layers locations in Korea and China, by hosting the event in 2016”.
