7 layers US - now in new and larger facilities!
Following the continuously growing demand for the 7 layers test and
development services in the USA, it became necessary to find better and
larger facilities, offering a more efficient work environment for our
clients and our personnel. The new building, close to the previous
facilities, will house all our laboratories and offices in one. Newly
designed and spacious client rooms were created with customer privacy in
mind.

7 layers AG and TTP Communications plc announce sale of
joint venture in UK to SGS UK Limited
TTP Communications plc and 7 layers AG today announce they have entered
into a definitive agreement regarding the sale of their joint venture, 7
layers UK Limited, to SGS UK Limited ('SGS'). The transaction comprising
the sale of the issued share capital of 7 layers UK Limited is an all
cash transaction valued at £10.5m plus £0.9m net cash. The proceeds will
be divided equally between TTP Communications plc and 7 layers AG. 7
layers UK is a test and certification business offering third-party test
services for the designers and manufacturers of GSM, GPRS and 3G
products and modules.

Aeroflex and 7 layers partner on 3G handset conformance testing
7 layers to use Aeroflex’s 6401 AIME/CT with ISHO platform for 3G
handset testing.
Aeroflex and 7 layers have announced a partnership on 3G mobile handset
conformance testing under which the 7 layers test and service facility
in UK will use Aeroflex’s 6401 AIME/CT conformance system complete with
inter-system handover capability (ISHO) for its 3G handset testing
requirements. The partnership is the result of the long-standing working
relationship between the two companies which goes back to the inception
of 7 layers in UK in 2001

7 layers UK tastes a MINT
CETECOM Spain has installed at 7 layers UK the validated MINT RF
Conformance Tester featuring quad-band (850/900/1800/1900)
GSM/GPRS/EDGE/AMR testing capabilities. This platform is one of the
three validated platforms for radio frequency testing according to the
GCF and PTCRB criteria and it is being supplied to enhance the service
portfolio that 7 layers UK is offering.

Bluetooth SIG. Halam is the second BQB at 7 layers UK, bringing the
