InterLab TTY Test Solution - CMU200

Teletype / Teletypewriter (TTY) is a telecommunications feature for hearing and speech impaired persons, mandated by the FCC for the USA market. Wireless service providers have therefore upgraded their digital networks to be compatible with TTY. This way it is ensured that hearing and speech impaired persons are able to use TTY compatible wireless phones and take advantage of mobile services, including 911 emergency calls.

The TTY Test Solution – CMU200 decreases the test duration, reduces human interaction and potential human-related testing errors by an outstandingly high level of automation. Advanced Object-Under-Test automation techniques and configurable repeat scenarios ease the test process considerably.

Various TTY test case packages are on offer for the InterLab TTY Test Solution – CMU200. They are suitable both for accredited certification test laboratories or manufacturer in-house test laboratories. The test case packages cover the following wireless technologies:
GSM (2G), W-CDMA / UMTS (3G).

All available test case packages offer test capabilities to check the correctness of the TTY signaling support and the TTY transmission performance for
