1. The "Bluetooth Specification Version
3.0 +
HS (High Speed)" introduced the label "High
Speed" into Bluetooth technology,
addressing applications and use cases requiring higher data
throughput. It defines all RF tests
necessary for qualifying modern Bluetooth products. The InterLab
Bluetooth RF Test Solution meets all demands set by the
Bluetooth
Qualification scheme by covering all required tests for Version 3.0
+ HS. (Extensions to the test portfolio are on offer - if required.)
2. The "Bluetooth
Low Energy wireless technology",
the hallmark feature of the new
Bluetooth Core Specification version 4.0 has been adopted in
order to meet the demands for ultra-low power wireless devices. This
important development, in combination with the technology
advancement previously introduced in version 3.0 + HS, will further
expand Bluetooth technology into new
markets and segments.
The InterLab Bluetooth
RF Test Solution meets all demands
set by the
Bluetooth
Qualification scheme. It provides
the complete validated RF test
coverage for
Bluetooth standard versions 2.0 +
EDR, 2.1 + EDR, 3.0 + HS and 4.0.
The InterLab Bluetooth RF Test
Solution
eases the test process using advanced Object Under Test
automation techniques, adaptive signaling methods and configurable
repeat scenarios. It provides the highest level of automation
in order to ensure reproducible, reliable results and speed up time
consuming, repetitive procedures. An Electronic Man Machine Interface
(EMMI) and Climatic Chamber Control (for extreme condition testing)
help to further decrease testing duration, reduce human interaction
and potential human-related testing errors.
7 layers uses the
Bluetooth Test Solution also in
its own
laboratories
for Development and Qualification test services.
To reduce the complexity
and to speed up the testing process, an intuitive user interface has
been implemented for test execution which allows the selection of a
variety of test sequences, test groups and repeat scenarios.

The Bluetooth
RF Test Solution
has the option to run fully automated test sequences by using the remote
control Host Controller Interface (HCI) of the Object Under Test. Full
automation allows the performance of test sequences without user
interaction, thus decreasing test time and errors.
The Bluetooth RF test
solution is validated according to Bluetooth® SIG requirements, thus
meeting Bluetooth Qualification requirements.
