Type Approval Services for other European Countries

Countries not belonging to the EU are divided into countries that follow the same rules as EU member states and countries with completely different legislation.

▬ In many states adjacent to EU member states the EU directives are accepted:
    The Channel Islands (Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney) accept UK regulations
    Isle of Man accepts UK regulations.
    Monaco accepts French regulations
    Andorra accepts Spanish regulations
    Vatikan City accepts Italian regulations

▬ Croatia, Turkey
▬ The R&TTE directive is basically accepted,
    with some small deviations

▬ Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro
    have their own national requirements
               ▬ Regulations are similar to EU directives
               ▬ All European standards accepted
               ▬ No national, in-country testing is required
               ▬ National approval has to be issued

               ▬ National, in-country testing is required
               ▬ Standards are based on EU requirements
               ▬ National approval has to be issued
